It works! I can see it now. Burny White does not look like he is in his 50′s. My dad said that he jammed with Lou Reed and members of The New York Dolls. That’s pretty cool. I’ve heard of him but not the X-Whites.

Hi Anthony, I totally remember these guys now. Burny White moved on and did some movie soundtracks and some big things in the NYC area with Sil Silvain and Gerry Nolan. He was well respected as a singer-songwriter in that scene. Or at least he was. Then he just disappeared and there were rumors. At least he’s alive. Most of those other guys were just eaten alive by that scene of the late 70′s, early 80′s with all the drugs and sex. Good to see he is alive and kicking. How did you end up playing with him? Did I hear that correctly?

Burny White definitely has a crazy story but he lives to tell it. Yes, I am working with him. He is doing his summer reunion thing with the X-Whites and when that is done we should be resuming his solo project. But in rock you never know. If things re-resume there will be gigs this fall. I let the management take care of the where and when. I just play drums and get paid! Or not get paid! Both are pretty common.
